Email Marketing Executive

Our client is an internationally renowned third sector company who are looking for an outstanding Email Marketing Executive to join their growing marketing team. They pride themselves in being innovative and forward thinking and have a presence worldwide. This focuses on the education arm of the business so they are looking for a commercially minded candidate to drive both B2B and B2C email campaigns. You would develop and deliver the email marketing strategy with the objective of raising brand awareness and driving revenue.
> Plan and schedule activity within the email contact plan, staggering sends as appropriate to minimise overlap, ensure deadlines are met and send volumes are managed.
> Edit content supplied by marketing teams to ensure suitability for the audience, applying digital best practice principles to maximise impact within the build template.
> Design, build and send regular email campaigns targeting a variety of external audiences, managing assets (e.g. images, video) and using dynamic content to personalise messages as required.
> Proof and test all email campaigns thoroughly to ensure standards are met and emails display optimally across different email clients and devices.
> Drive creativity and innovation; keep abreast of latest technologies and platforms, identifying new opportunities as they arise.
> Manage the relationship with our email service provider.
> Support on design and build of website based triggers (e.g. booking confirmation emails) as required.
> Monitor performance of each send and compile regular reports, gathering data from sources including Google Analytics.
> Produce ad hoc reports as required (e.g. to compare send days/times).
> Continuously look for ways to improve the email design, content and data segmentation, and put into practice.
> Work with the Data team to identify and address any deliverability issues.
> Undertake regular competitor analysis and monitor any changes in the email marketing landscape.
