Working hours: 9am-5pmThis is an exciting opportunity to join our friendly team as an Administrator. You will be playing a pivotal role in recruiting Soldiers and Officers into the British Army.
About the role
Joining a diverse and vibrant team, you will support candidates at the start of their unique journey into the Army.Split into three distinctive areas including Officer applications, overseas applications and other business administration assistance, you will administer their initial eligibility checks ensuring that they meet the required criteria.
Practical and friendly, you will be great at communicating with a wide range of people. Your excellent interpersonal skills mean you'll find it easy to build relationships with candidates and have a proven ability to identify with all different kinds of people.

What you will do:
Administer initial eligibility checks for Candidates
Treat all information in strict confidence and in line with Data Protection Guidelines and make correct decisions based upon set criteria
Collect and review all data in line with current recruiting policy
Liaise with Candidates, Candidate Support Managers and external agencies where necessary
Have full understanding and knowledge on the eligibility criteria for Officer and Soldier candidates, giving consistent and accurate advice to all customers
General administration duties
Your experience will include:
Must be a clear communicator on the telephone and in writing
Administration experience, ideally from a previous role
Familiarity with the Army, possibly derived from a military background or family links is desirable
Recruiting experience is desirable
Good attention to detail
