Job Title: Electronics Quality Technician

My client is looking to recruit a Quality Technician for their electronics business located in Melksham. They design and develop electronic products for a variety of industries and are looking to recruit this role to provide support for the Production team ensuring that products are manufactured right first-time.

The main responsibilities within the role of Quality Technician are:

  • Ensure product quality through doing Inspection through the manufacturing process.
  • Final inspection of all finished product.
  • Provide support to the Quality Engineer during First-off, FAAT & FAI activities.
  • Provide support to the Production Manager in the development of and improvement to operational
  • processes, procedures, and instructions.
  • Manage & control the processing of nonconforming products identified during product realization.

Skills/Experience required:

  • Demonstrable working experience in a similar
  • Demonstrable knowledge of quality management systems (ISO9001/AS9100).
  • Able to read engineering drawings and wiring
  • Demonstrable knowledge of IPC610 & 620

Working hours:

37.5-hour week Monday - Friday 07:00 - 15:30 (including 30 mins unpaid break), Friday 07:00 - 12:30
