We are looking to hire an experienced Electronics Engineer with a bias towards FPGA for an engineering business in Norwich.

Joining a technically astute team, you will be heavily involved in the design & R&D of electronic systems for a range of products that are predominantly used within the Oil & Gas sector.

Working as part of the Design & Project teams, you'll lead the design process from initial concept through to schematic, PCB layout & test planning phase. You'll also support with the final production & product delivery phases; so a great opportunity to be apart of the entire product design and manufacturing cycle.

To be successful, you'll need experience in:

  • Electronics Design
  • Analogue & high speed digital design
  • Active & passive filtering
  • FPGA
  • Precision soldering
  • Full design life cycle experience
  • Component level fault finding
  • PCB Layout (multi-layer)

Desirable skills include:

  • Switching & Linear PSU design
  • Analogue Signal Processing
  • HV Circuit Design
  • Mentor Graphics PADS Designer & Layout experience
  • High-speed Digital PCB Layout (ie: DDR memory)
  • High Temperature Electronics Design
  • MatLab
