An innovative and specialist manufacturer of microwave sub-systems is currently looking to recruit an experienced Electronics / PCB Design Engineer at their production facility in Lincoln. This is a key role as part of a forward thinking business, providing a wide range of integrated microwave modules for Satcom, Defence and Industrial applications.
Your role would entail the design, development and prototyping of hardware to support a range of RF, microwave components and sub-systems. Key areas of focus will include…
o Analogue / Digital Electronics design and prototyping
o Manufacturing document generation and support (including use of SAP)
o Manufacturing support to sub-contract manufacturers
o Technical support to onsite manufacturing cells
o Hardware design verification as part of project team
The role will suit a time-served Electronics Design Engineer, ideally degree / HNC educated, with circuit capture and PCB layout experience, preferably using Altium PCB design software or similar, plus PSU design expertise. You must be able to demonstrate proficiency with electronics simulation, design and de-bugging tools, while experience of embedded hardware / firmware design / CPLD / FPGA development would also be desirable.
You will be a versatile and results driven individual with a positive and enthusiastic attitude plus excellent organisational skills and multi-tasking ability. IT proficiency will also be required, particularly MS Office, plus strong communication skills.
An ambitious and forward thinking manufacturer, you would be joining a highly skilled and qualified design team with in excess of 150 man years combined experience covering all major market sectors.
