Electronic Sales / Business Development Manager

A unique Sales opportunity to join a successful and well established Electronic / Electrical Manufacturing company who produce in excess of 600 products.

The position would ideally suit an applicant with a previous electronic design background, sales experience is required.

There will be potential to be promoted to the position of Sales Director with a Stake in the business, after the initial 24 month period of service. subject to target achievements and board approval. At this time the salary will increase to £45,000 inclusive of employers pension contribution.

You would have the day to day authority of the two members of sales staff, whom you would utilise and mentor. They would be your back up, their duties would include your research, social media, administration, Processing of sales orders etc. leaving you free to make sales with the companies extensive existing client base, which they are also keen to expand on, you would be provided with warm leads. A large percentage of the business comes from business start up's. It would be your responsibility to visit, upsell and manage the sales and maintenance with these companies.

You would have the day to day authority within the company to set the sales tasks and strategy of your sales team to meet the business goals.

Produce and circulate to all Directors a weekly sales activity

Analyse the current condition of sales/customer activity

Compile reports detailing the short term sales goals (3-6 months) and the longer term goals (7-12 months)

The report should also contain any recommendations to assist in the increase of sales /customer activity / profitability

As part of becoming a Director you will be given an option to purchase company shares
