Electro-Mechanical Production Technician
Our client is looking to appoint an experience Electro-Mechanical Production Technician to join them as a leading provider of precision equipment and medical devices used within Research, Cell Therapy, and Fertility laboratories across the world. Job Summary
Are you a highly organised Production Technician with experience of working in a medical device industry? A driven, pragmatic, and presentable Production Technician, preferably with knowledge working with lab-based equipment, is required to provide preventative and reactive maintenance, service, repair and installation of equipment proprietary equipment for a well-established SME with a friendly team and a worldwide reputation for providing service excellence in their niche markets.
For over 50 years, our client has been a market leading manufacturer of specialised life science equipment. They design and develop sophisticated equipment for use in research and medical laboratories.
An experienced Electromechanical Production Technician to join a small but growing team of assemblers and technicians.
The successful technician will be self-motivated with a good understanding of working with mechanical and electrical assembly.
Key Responsibilities
- To carry out electro-mechanical assembly work on all products, working to drawings, parts lists, procedures, and work instructions.
- To carry out testing on all products, working to drawings, parts lists, procedures, and work instructions.
- To work on prototype work when required.
- Authorised to carry out inspection processes in line with QA procedures on all products when required.
- Conform where applicable to company quality management system procedures
- To carry out any packing requirements.
- To follow all H&S guidelines as laid down as part of drawings, parts lists, procedures, work instructions, risk assessments and QA procedures.
Skills and Experience
- Self-motivation.
- The ability to work within a small team.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with members of the production team and engineering department to help improve products and processes.
- Have a technical ability of electromechanical operator level with the ability to follow and understand drawings, parts lists, procedures and work instructions.
- Comprehensive understanding electrical assembly.
- Comprehensive understanding mechanical assembly.
