Electromechanical Development & Project Engineer needed ASAP !!!
Currently working alongside a fantastic client that have an opportunity within their team due to retirement for an Electromechanical Development & Project Engineer.
The ideal candidate will be a keen, flexible, practical, creative person with problem solving skills. A good communicator at all levels. Able to work as part of a team or alone. Able to fault find on mechanical or electronic equipment to component level.
They will be responsible for electromechanical design, development, assembly, test, product support and sales support for high security and railway products.
A broad background in both mechanical and electrical/electronic engineering with the ability to carry out circuit design (schematic) and PCB layout on both analogue and digital electronics.
Knowledge of microcontroller (PIC), Raspberry Pi (Python) and PLC hardware and programming are highly advantageous.
Ideally apprentice trained with formal qualifications (ONC, HNC, Engineering degree).
Physically fit and with a full UK clean driving licence as work can involve lifting and travel to customer's premises or remote sites.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office software will be essential and must have a real design element in your work history.
Standard 37 hour week
