The ONE Group are working with a local Cambridge based company who are developing battery products and materials, with sustainability in mind.

With an international presence, their small R&D facility are a multi-disciplinary team who work collaboratively within purpose-built labs. They are looking for an Electrochemistry Technician to join the growing team.

This role would be ideal for somebody who would like to develop their hands-on skills, working with interesting materials within a rapidly growing industry.

This is an opportunity to gain excellent experience and benefit from a robust in-house training plan

The Role:

  • Build & test of small battery cells
  • Preparation & analysis of liquid dispersions
  • Preparation of thin films from dispersions
  • Applying coatings
  • Handling chemicals

About You:

  • Chemistry/Materials background
  • Able to follow clear, standard processes accurately
  • Lab experience
  • Superb attention to detail

The package:

  • Salary £30-35k
  • Performance related annual bonus
  • Flexible hours (core hours are 9 - 3)
