This is an exciting opportunity to work in a brand new, purpose built facility, producing a world famous product.
This role is to ensure manufacturing facilities and equipment is maintained and running smoothly and up time of the equipment is maximised.
As well as Preventive Maintenance, fast and accurate fault finding in the event of unforeseen downtime events will be integral.
The ideal Electro-Mechanical Engineer will have:
HNC/HND in either Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
Sound electrical and mechanical knowledge.
3-5 years previous experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer in a production/factory environment.
Experience of motors, VFD, control loop, single line diagram, etc.
Ability to read and interpret diagrams.
Good English language skills in oral and written communication.
To be able to work on day, early and late shifts.
Maintain positive "Can Do" attitude & strives for continued improvement.
Duties and responsibilities:
Maintain a safe and clean working environment and comply with procedures and regulations.
Determine, document and complete Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities including identification and rectification on electrical and mechanical systems.
Fault finding of equipment, both mechanical and electrical issues, including PLC and SCADA systems.
Able to review technical drawings as required.
Ensure spares are available and reordered as required.
Ensures that all equipment meets the legislative requirements.
Management of contractors as required.
Installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Confident with the use of hand tools and power tools.
Electro-Mechanical Engineer pay and benefits
£35,000-£38,000 depending on experience, generous shift allowance, 3% pension contribution, 25 days holiday, free on-site parking.
