(Experienced & Trainee)

Areas Covered:- All areas between Bristol, Swindon, Birmingham and London (Outside M25)


Monday - Friday - 39 hour working week plus overtime


£30000 - £36000 (OTE £40000-£45000 including overtime) dependant on experience plus benefits (Pension, 33 days inc BH's Holiday, Company Car, Company Laptop & Mobile Phone)


Established for 60+ years my client is the supplier of high quality machine tools to the Manufacturing sector looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to use and develop their skills whilst maintaining and developing key client relationships with prestigious businesses including Rolls Royce & Mercedes F1.

The Job:

Working as part of a Field Based team you will cover an area of Bristol, Reading, Swindon, below Birmingham and across to West London (Outside M25) you will be responsible for:-

Fault finding, servicing, maintaining & the installing of Electro-Mechanical Machine Tools

Exchanging of mechanical and electrical components and parts

Using diagnostic tools to fault find and trouble-shoot

Routine and preventative maintenance tasks

About You:

Previous demonstrable experience of working with mechanical/electrical manufacturing equipment

Ability to fault find and problem solve autonomously

Ability to read pneumatic hydraulic and electrical diagrams/drawings

Full driving licence

Ability to work alone

Desirable but not essential

Knowledge of Siemens / Heidenhain Control systems

Understanding of full 5 axis CNC Machine Tools
