Electrician (Industrial/ Installation)
Circa £26,000 to £28,000 + Lots of Overtime (You can realistically earn £40,000 - £45,000) + Company Pension + Fuel Card + Stay Away Allowance
Installation Electrician required for a growing successful independent manufacturer. This is a new role due to growth and further contracts won. This is a great opportunity to work for a company offering full product training who still have that family feel.
To apply for the role you must be a qualified electrical engineer holding a City and Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent. It is highly desirable if you also hold the 17th edition although this is not essential. Full product training will be given so experience on pumps is NOT essential. Electrical ex forces applicants are encouraged to apply. First aid training, confined space training, manufacturing product training will all be given.
The role will suit those looking for a role where you can realistically earn £40,000 - £45,000. The base salary is for 39 hours a week, most of the installation engineers work 50-55 hours a week and stay away 2 nights a week. You are paid £75 per a night when staying away.
The role is installing and commissioning pumping equipment across the UK. You will work with a mechanical engineer and travel to the jobs across the UK, on average staying away 2 nights a week. The work is primarily on new build housing estates. When required you will also work at head office in Crewe building and testing machinery.
