Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer

Our client is a leading manufacturer within the food industry. They are currently seeking a number of Electrically biased Maintenance Engineers to fill a current skills gap in their team.

Role & Responsibilities:

*PPM, breakdown cover, faultfinding, repairs on various equipment and production lines.
*Maintaining modern process equipment
*Working on packaging machinery
*Improve and promote safety across the site. Ensure Safe Systems of Work are followed.
*Complete work orders to repair and maintain plant and equipment.
*Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance work schedules.
*Improve machines and processes to increase equipment effectiveness.
*Ensure all work is recorded on the Mainsaver system.
*Support other Engineering personnel to achieve departmental goals.
*Ensure all breakdowns & project work is carried out within the required time scale.
*Responsible for helping to identify your own personal training and development needs.
*Book out of spares and machine parts on Mainsaver.
*Help to control costs and spend promoting cost saving initiatives.
*Minimise production breakdowns and downtime using root cause analysis

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

*Desirable 17th edition but not essential.
*Experience of FMCG / Food environments.
*Experience of PLC's advantageous.
*Multi-skilled- preferably electrically bias

Benefits Package:

o£38,000 - £40,000
o2 on 2 off, 3 on 3 off. Days and Nights
