Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer (Static 14.00-22.00)

My client is an established business based in Northampton who have recently partnered with a global business making them a leading player in the field of engineering that they operate in. Due to expansion they are seeking a number of engineering professionals to join the business to consolidate their place in their markets.

The company is seeking an electrically biased MAINTENANCE ENGINEER to join the team at the companies Northampton facility. The role will cover the continuous service and repair of the plant and systems used by the production and manufacturing teams .

You will be responsible for the primary service on the equipment as well as liaising with outside suppliers and contracts with regards to escalations, equipment warranty issues, routine servicing and any other problems that might occur. The role is based on a fixed shift pattern of14.00-22.00 Monday to Friday

The company is looking for:

* Previous experience as an electrically biased engineer with responsibility for service and repair of machinery

* Recognised qualification in engineering / formal apprenticeship

* Good electromechanical fault finding skills including work with switcghgear , controllers,PLC and CNC controlled circuits)

* Flexible nature and the ability to deal with occasionally conflicting priorities

IEE 17th Edition would be an advantage BUT not essential ;in this role.
