Overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join an exciting manufacturing company based in Cambridge. Working a 2’s & 3’s shift you will be part of a strong team carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of manufacturing and packaging equipment. Although a contract positon, this employer has been known to provide training and courses for contractors and will often invite successful contractors back for regular work.

Job Description

Working alongside a mechanically biased engineer you will be charged with all reactive and planned electrical fault-finding and repairs.

Electrically you will be working on both single and three phase equipment up to 400v. This will typically be changing motors, sensors, invertors etc.

Equipment - Including but not limited to

x-ray machines, metal detectors, conveyors, elevators, slicers, multi-head check weighers, sealing machines & printers

Skills / Qualifications

Electrical Qualification or 17th Edition

Experience with single & 3 phase electrics
