Electrical Test and Inspection Engineer

Our Client, a top 10 UK contractor, are seeking an Electrical Test and Inspection Engineer for their specialist Electrical Testing division with th e majority of works being in East London.

In this job you will be working on a variety of projects including commercial and educational premises as well as the landmark Olympic stadium.

Client Details

This is an unique opportunity to work within a growing business offering excellent career progression for Electricians wanting to further their career under a Top Tier Contractor. The basic is £33k and there are uplifts for time after 7pm, weekends, bank holiday and any and nights worked as well as general working expenses and a van. Our Client is looking for somebody whom is ideally seeking a career move and to grow with them as the business grows. Package adds up to £40k on a permanent basis.

Description

You will be required to carry out testing, inspection and reporting on the condition of electrical components and equipment in a range of live sites-

Lighting / power
Wiring to central heating
Fire Alarms
Installation and maintenance

Must have full driving licence and tools.Excellent rate of pay and vehicle and all work related expenses paid. Immediate interview.

Profile

Candidates must hold relevant industry qualifications - City & Guilds (Electrical Installation 2360) Parts 1 and 2, 17th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers (I.E.E) Registration and City & Guilds 2391/2394/95 Testing and Inspection.

A current ECS card is essential and a CSCS would be advantageous.
