Leading M&E Contractor based in London looking for Electrical Supervisors on the following types of projects:

- High End Residential Projects
- Mixed Use Projects
- Commercial Projects
- Data Centre Projects
- Fit Out Projects

Job Description:

The role consists of all aspects of the electrical site supervision of allocated contracts to ensure that the business principles of quality, profitability and close client relationships are implemented at all times.Â

Duties and Responsibilities:

As an electrical supervisor complete responsibility of allocated contracts which would include but not be limited to the following activities -Â

Must have knowledge of the most economical and effective layout of installations together with the ability to achieve a high level of productivity in the work which they controlÂ

Represent company meetings with client, supply chain and project teams as required for projectÂ

Maintain accurate records of meetingsÂ

Provide technical input in relation to your skills into project requirements, including liaison with both internal and external design teamsÂ

Understand the relevance of Specification, Drawings and Technical SubmissionsÂ

Maintain copy of current drawings and mark up as necessary for record purposesÂ

Request technical clarification from CM when requiredÂ

Understand the importance of RFI'sÂ

Efficient management of labour resource including direct and sub-contractÂ

Ensure a high quality installationÂ

Complete quality control documentation as appropriate maintaining copied for O&M manual.

Strive for a snag free installation and rectify any defects.Â

Final snagging by CM prior to presentation to the client.

Regular liaison with CM's to report on overall operation of their programme, labour, opportunities, health and safety and any other issues.

Responsibility for site health and safety procedures and documentation including regular liaison with Engineering health and safety manager to ensure best practices are maintained.

Read, Understand and implement Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan together with any pre-Construction information.Â

Maintain accurate site induction records.Â

Maintain accurate signing in records.

Carry out regular Health & Safety Checklist:Â typically weeklyÂ

Carry out Tool Box talks as appropriate.Â

Monitor and control of supplier and sub-contract supply chain to ensure best value and quality are achieved.
