An ambitious and progressive Building Services company are seeking a Shift Engineer for a critical site in the Docklands. This highly reputable maintenance company are winning some prestigious contracts at the moment and have a technically mentality amongst all their staff, so they like engineers who eat, sleep and breath engineering. They possess a good staff retention level and have a good morale throughout all the ranks in the business. This opportunity to represent a highly technical and respected company provides a competitive salary of £36,000 on a continental shift pattern.
The role will encompass either an Electrically or Mechanically biased Engineer qualified to City and Guild level, whilst ideally also being Apprenticeship trained. The successful candidate will be very strong technically in all areas of building services, with the ability to work on all electrical and mechanical systems. They will be covering all planned and reactive maintenance to single and three phase power, High Voltage, UPS, generators, Chilled and Condensed Water Systems, CRAC units, AHU's, VAV's, FCU's, Boilers, Chillers, control panels, pumps, motors, operating BMS etc.
All applicants must have a stable work history, with critical banking/data centre experience being beneficial. The successful engineer will also benefit from HV experience or preferably be a HV authorised person.
