Our client, based in Exeter, is currently recruiting for 2 Electrical Engineers and 2 Multi Skilled Engineers on a fixed term contract for 6 months with strong potential for extension. Our client is leading Construction and Facilities Management Naitional company and this is an opportunity to work on the Nightingale Hospital.

The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis, 48 hours per week 4 on, 3 off. The rate of pay is negotiable based on experience for this position.

Electrical Engineer

Duties will include (but not limited to):

- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete the appropriate paperwork and reports.

- Carry out Reactive and emergency breakdown tasks and complete the associated paperwork.

- Assisting other team members when required or as directed from the Shift Supervisor and FM Manager.

- Ensure that all tasks are completed within the contractual time scales.

- Overseeing visiting sub-contractors with regards to standard of work and Health and Safety.

- Adopt a flexible attitude

- Carry out all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.

- Understand and complete all work related documentation accurately and on time

- Carry out work in a safe and diligent manner.

- Comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.

- Undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required

Essential requirements

Ideally looking for someone with electrical qualification 2391, Qualified to City & Guilds Level II/III, 18th Edition or equivalent, electrically bias preferred.

- Experience of electrical/mechanical maintenance, testing & fault finding on a variety of equipment including air conditioning, plumbing, boiler plant, ventilation, pumps, generators, switchgear, cables, batteries, small power and lighting (where applicable)

Multi Skilled Engineer

Duties will include (but not limited to):

- To maintain full and safe operational functionality and presentation of all M&E services including a wide range of heaters, air conditioners, coolers, dehumidifiers and/or other climate control equipment

-Checking, cleaning, servicing, maintenance and record-keeping to be consistently carried out to the standards set down by the Company in accordance with the published Workshop Procedures and with Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental standards

- The objective is to maximise equipment safety reliability, availability and presentation

- Also to carry out repairs within the scope of training and competence

- HVAC accessories, to maintain full and safe operational functionality

- Installs and de-installs of equipment

Essential requirements

- You must have relevant experience and a recognised qualification/apprenticeship in Electrical/Mechanical of HVAC, M&E services or FGAS.

Working hours (add/delete as appropriate):

  • 48 hours per week - 4 on and 2 off
