An opportunity has arisen to join our client's maintenance team. The company are one of the market leaders in the Midlands within their sector. Having won numerous awards and this site being one of the flagship sites.
Working as part of the Maintenance Team be able to provide ‘Hands-on’ Electrical & Technical support to both Production and other teams within the site and across the company.
The successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be a member of a multi-functional Engineering Team aiming to achieve key targets within the departmental environment, thereby helping to deliver Cost, Quality and Efficiency benefits to the site.
The shift pattern is Monday to Friday Plus available overtime
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer at this Nottinghamshire business your role will involve:
-Carrying out planned as well as reactive maintenance across a variety of plant machinery
-Ensuring that machinery is operating at optimal performance
-Learning skills required to operate plant machinery in order to gain better understanding of processes
-Taking part in continuous improvement activities, helping to create new ideas and better solutions to create ever improving efficiencies
-Promoting safe working practises, understanding that health and safety is considered the most important factor at all times.
The successful maintenance engineer will have:
- Experience with PLC equipment and program editing
- Apprentice trained
- Minimum requirements for qualification are to City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering
- Manufacturing or industrial background.
- Knowledge of Frequency Inverters, Motor Controls, Safety Circuits
- 17th Edition qualified
