Electrical Maintenance Engineer

This client is looking for an Electrical Bias Multi Skilled Shift Maintenance Engineer. The successful applicant will form part of the Shift Maintenance Team. The team is responsible for maintenance, repairs and development of the automated concrete processing factory, including material handling, batching and packaging equipment. This role will involve working on various different types of equipment including complex hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic control systems. Applicants should have previous experience of working as part of an engineering team with good knowledge of fault finding techniques and the ability to react and interact in a production environment.
Ideally you will be a time served Electrical Engineer to ONC, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2320 parts 1 & 2 or suitable equivalent qualification. You will also be familiar with current IEE 17th Edition regulations. A good knowledge and understanding of PLC's would also be an advantageous, particularly Allen Bradley. The ideal applicant will be a team player with excellent communication skills, possessing a sound working knowledge of basic Microsoft packages.
