Completing fault finding and maintenance repair works, you will play an integral role in terms of supporting the Production department, providing technical support to ensure the efficient operation of the process.
*Heavy involvement in planned preventative and predicative maintenance.
*Investigate electrical plant faults, diagnose and rectify defects.
*Ability to work under pressure and maintain a consistently high level of performance.
*Ability to Investigate, understand and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
*Provide out of hours support where required.
*Time served Electrician.
*You will be educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering. A relevant further high level qualification is also desirable.
*Experience with PLCs, drives and instrumentation systems desirable.
*A 'Hands-on' individual, with a positive 'can-do' approach to your ensuring Engineering standards are achieved and maintained.
*Technical expertise to read electrical drawings and fault find.
*Ensuring all electrical engineering activities within area of responsibility are completed in full compliance with all statutory regulations and site HS&E standards, policies and procedures.
*Full UK driving licence.
Shift Pattern: 4on 4 off - 12 hour shifts Days and Nights
Pension: matched up to 7%
Overtime: Lots! paid at a premium rate
