We require an enthusiastic career focused person who wants improve their qualifications and gain a career in electrical work as an electrical improver / apprentice electrician / electricians mate to work for our business on the outskirts of Grantham. If you have been an Electricians mate in the past / currently, working towards and electrician qualification then we want to hear from you.

For the right candidate this role will be a temporary to Permanent position with excellent benefits:

As an electrical improver / Apprentice electrician / Electricians mate you will be required to work within an industrial bias business, ideally if you have worked in an FMCG / Food Factory, agricultural background this is preferred but not essential.

You will be working in a team on occasion over 3 sites to assist and learn how to repair, install and maintain machinery, new installs wiring Systems including; Cable containment systems, Conduit, Cable Ladder, Cable Tray / Basket, SWA and Data Cabling, Wiring of control systems on site, Fire Alarm cabling, Wiring of Lighting & Power circuits.

The company will offer training and career progression with rates of pay increasing as you training and qualifications are passed off.

Normal hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 5.00pm, 40 hours per week but overtime will be available on occasion.

For this role you must have excellent work ethic, experience in some form of electrical work, team player and able to work on own initiative.
