Working a 24/7 365 day shift pattern as part of the utilities team in a large manufacturing plant.
To undertake maintenance procedures, regular checks and routine inspections on utilities equipment.
Maintenance and fault finding on pneumatic and Hydraulic Systems.
Maintenance and fault finding HP air systems (Atlas Copco)
Maintenance and fault finding on high pressure boilers and associated equipment.
Maintenance and fault finding on Reverse osmosis equipment.
Maintenance and fault finding on Ozone generating equipment.
Maintenance and fault finding on Effluent treatment plant.
Maintain chilled water and heating systems including the repair and replacement of all associated pipe work.
Maintenance and fault finding to include FET.
Carry out maintenance on varied equipment and associated small plant and valves.
To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner
Carry out risk assessments of maintenance and repair activities.
Be responsible for ensuring cooling tower records are kept up to date.
Flexible in their approach to work scheduling, to ensure customer satisfaction is guaranteed.
Liaise with third party contractors to plan reactive and planned maintenance work.
To comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
To attend and fully participate in training and appraisal activities as required.
The ideal candidate should have/be:
Recognised multi-skilledÂ or electrical or mechanical apprenticeship,
Flexible approach must be able to work alone and within a team, and be self motivated.
Good customer service and communication skills
Experience working with commercial boilers
Experience of HP air compressors
Experience working on pumps
Experienced manufacturing multi-skilled
