Electrical Engineer - Cambridgeshire - Manufacturing

Location: Cambridge

Salary: £40K - £50K

Skills: AutoCAD LT, Fault Finding, PLC Programming (Siemens)

Are you an Electrical Engineer skilled with Electrical Control Systems and have a passion for cutting-edge technology?

Platform Recruitment is partnered with a global leader in industrial Manufacturing + Printing solutions who are looking to expand their well-established engineering team. This is an amazing opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to come and join a leading team and have their hand in the design, development and building of Electrical Control Systems, whilst also adhering to customer requirements.

Skills Required:

+ 5+ Years of Experience in an Electrical, Manufacturing, Design or Service role

+ HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or a related field

+ Experience with developing/designing Electrical Schematics

+ Strong AutoCAD LT Experience

+ Experience with Low Voltage Electrical Standards

+ Experience with a range of PLC’s (Siemens necessary)

Key Role Responsibilities:

+ The redevelopment/design of existing and current designs

+ Assist in the design of cable harnesses, panels and other forms of hardware

+ Assist in the creation and fault finding of Electrical Systems

+ Deal with Electrical projects from conception to completion
