Electrical Engineer - Haverhill - Salary Negotiable

We have an excellent opportunity for and Electrical Engineer to join a market leading manufacturing company, in a challenging but very rewarding role. As an Electrical Engineer you will build Control Panels used in the operation of production machinery used by blue chip companies worldwide including those within Toiletry, Cosmetic, Pharmaceutical and Food industries. The role will also involve fault finding, inspecting and testing products prior to dispatch to clients to ensure the products meet with customer specifications.

Duties

Building Electrical panels for machines from a kit of parts.
All aspects involved with the electrical content of a machine build including reading schematics, Drilling, Taping etc, and mounting peripheral equipment.
Modifying some electrical designs to suit simple projects
Inspect completed work
Test and fault find finished products ready for customer acceptance
Work closely with other related staff ie mechanical fitters/assembler to ensure the products are produced to high standards

Experience
A sound Electrical engineering background.
Experience of Electrical panel building.
Test and fault finding
Minimum electrical engineering qualifications to City & Guilds or NVQ 3 standard
The ability to work with the minimum of supervision and to become integrated into a small team.
The ability to be flexible in regard to overtime hours, and tasks undertaken.

Benefits
Standard hours Monday - Thursday 8.30 - 5.30 and Friday finish at 4pm with paid overtime
20 days holiday plus bank holiday
