Our client are looking for an Apprentice Trained Electrical Engineer with ideally some mechanical experience to work at their site in Leeds. As a small manufacturing company that has been in operation since 1932 it has a reputation for delivering quality products to the Power Industry both nationally and internationally.
They are seeking an Apprentice Trained Electrical Engineer from a Mechanical background who can produce quality work to sometimes very challenging deadlines. Their team is small but highly dedicated to meeting these goals. You will be:
- Producing light industrial installations
- Includes braded and SWA cables on occasion
- Some small panel work involving limited power distribution and junction boxes
- 16th or 17th Edition beneficial
Salary is negotiable based on a 39 hour week ( 8.00am - 4.30pm Monday-Thursday and 8.00am - 3.30pm on Friday). £9-£12/hour DOE + optional 5 hours OT per week.
They provide an enhancement payment of £35 per day for remote site working which could mean working away during the week anything from 1 to 5 weeks per annum and any overtime is at enhanced rates Monday to Saturday.
Holidays are 29 days including the 8 statutory holidays.
A flexible approach to working and being a team player are key requirements of the role.
