Our client is a long established and leading Facilities Management and Professional Services company operating in the UK. They look after a diverse range of public and private sector customers, managing sites in the retail, financial services, healthcare, education, government, leisure and manufacturing industries.
Your new role
This permanent opportunity is based at a single site in Aberdeen. You will be expected to ensure that all equipment and services are maintained, monitored and inspected to allow them to operate in a safe condition and comply with Health and Safety standards. The successful candidate will undertake electrical repairs, installations and carry out works as specified. You will understand and complete all work-related documentation accurately and be able to comply with the expected policies and procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will come from an Electrical Engineering background, with experience working on maintenance projects. You will have Electrical qualifications such as City & Guilds 2391 Electrical Inspections and Testing, ideally you will also hold a 18th Edition or hold 17th Edition and have a willingness for further training. You will have a working knowledge of Health and Safety and safe working practices. In addition, your experience should able you to be proactive and can anticipate potential faults and responding accordingly. You will be well organised and able to manage your own workload and deadlines.
