Are you an Electrical Design Engineer looking for the next step in your career?

Blueprint Recruitment Solutions have a new and exciting opportunity with a top client. We are looking for someone motivated and highly experienced to join their team in a permanent position. The successful candidate will work on a hybrid basis, with up to three days a week in the clients Edinburgh office.

About our client:

Our client is a multi-disciplinary M&E building services design and consulting company. Who focus on a variety of sectors including education, retail, commercial, leisure, residential, health, industrial and finance.

Key responsibilities:

-Designing electrical systems to meet project needs and standards.

-Create technical drawings, specifications, and calculations for systems.

-Work alongside other engineers to integrate systems with building designs.

-Communicate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to meet deadlines.

-Ensure compliance with regulations and sustainability standards.

-Help prepare project cost estimates, schedules, and resources.

Key Requirements:

-A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

-Experience in electrical design.

-Strong knowledge of electrical systems (lighting, power, distribution).

-Extensive experience with design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).

-Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

-Familiarity with relevant building regulations, standards, and sustainability practices.
