Electrical Design Engineer

An ongoing contract for an electrical design engineer with opportunity to go permanent.

Your new company
This is a public sector organisation currently experiencing a strong pipeline of work. They work on a range of projects including education, private sector commercial and mixed use buildings. They are growing their team and due to the workload increase are looking for an electrical design engineer to join their team.

Your new role
You will be working alongside a team of engineers on schools, colleges, universities and public sector properties. You will be working on new built and refurbishment projects where you will be involved in surveys as well as design and amendments to electrical design. Working with AutoCAD software you will be expected to inspect electrical services as well survey that they are working correctly.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a HND/HNC or degree in electrical engineering with previous experience designing electrical services using AutoCAD as well as inspecting and surveying. You must have good communication skills, knowledge of electrical regulations and be proficient with AutoCAD.
