The electrical controls engineer will be responsible for engineering, designing, programming, commissioning and optimising industrial electrical control solutions for robotic material storage, handling, processing and distribution machines and production solutions.

The responsibilities for the Electrical Controls Engineer will include the following:

- Functional Design Specification Development

- Health & Safety Documentation Development

-Quality and Compliance Documentation Development

- Control Topology Design

- Detailed Electrical Design

- Electrical Panel Build and Testing (small-scale equipment)

- PLC Logic Software Development

- HMI GUI Software Development

- Motion Logic Software Development

- Functional Safety Logic Software Development

- Network and Communication Interfacing and Development

- Machine Commissioning including Electrical, Networks, Drives and Controls

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

The candidate will need to possess the following qualifications, experience and skills:

- Electrical Engineering Degree

- 17th Edition Certified

- EPLAN Software Certification

- PLC and MLC Software Certification

- Functional Safety Software Certification

- experience:

- Working for a system integrator/builder of Automated Machine Solutions

- Industrial electrical design solutions for Automated Robotic Systems

- Industrial networking/interfacing solutions for Controls & Instrumentation

- Industrial drive programming solutions for Multi-axis Machine Solutions

- Electrical Panel Build Experience

- Bosch PLC and Drive Control Hardware Experience

- Bosch IndraWorks Software Experience

- PLC/MLC Ladder Logic and STL Skills

- Network Interfacing Skills (ProfiNet, EtherNET, EtherNETIP, SERCOS)

- PUWER, LV and Machine Directive knowledge and understanding

The following would be beneficial but not essential:

- Robot Programming Skills (Desirable)

- C# or C++ programming Skills (Desirable)
