Electrical CAD Designer

Imagine yourself as part of a dynamic team, contributing your Electrical CAD expertise to the development of cutting-edge defence maritime platforms. As an Electrical CAD Designer for a leading defence contractor, you'll have the opportunity to create and review electrical designs and drawings, playing a vital role in delivering on this exciting project.

This permanent role offers a competitive salary range of £36,000 - £46,000 plus benefits, with the flexibility to work from our South West London office or remotely.


• Develop electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical• Support the creation and management of Bills of Materials (BOM)•

Collaborate with the Electrical Design Engineering team

Preferred Requirements:

  • Produce electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical
  • Support the creation and management of Bills of Materials (BOM)
  • Provide electrical engineering support to the Electrical Design Engineering team
  • Develop component libraries to support schematics
  • Review electrical schematics in accordance with relevant standards and internal Computer Aided Design (CAD) processes

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in an Electrical CAD position
  • Understanding and working knowledge of electrical related Defence Standards, including Lloyds Register and other Military Standards (e.g. Def Stan 59-411)
  • Proficient user of AutoCAD Electrical or similar
