NHS Forth Valley is responsible for monitoring the health and provision of health care for a population of 284,000 in a mixed urban-rural region of Central Scotland. As part of our eHealth/IM&T Strategy we are introducing IT systems that will support the redesign of health care provision across the area. In support of the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) programme an opportunity has arisen for an eLearning Developer to develop on-line interactive training materials to support a blended learning approach. A key aspect of your role will be engaging with users (eg clinicians), suppliers and other key stakeholders (eg ICT department).

You will already have experience of developing on-line interactive training materials, excellent communication and demonstrable training skills. Educated to degree level or experienced in a related field of work and with relevant qualifications, you should have demonstrable experience in the use of IM&T. Experience of design, development and testing of on-line training materials to approved specifications, would be an advantage. An NHS background with knowledge of clinical IM&T systems used in NHS would be desirable. You will be expected to work at locations across NHS Forth Valley.
