PRIVATE & CONFIDENTIAL JOB TITLE: ART DIRECTOR ECOMMERCE REPORTS TO: SENIOR MANAGER PHOTO STUDIO LOCATION: HORSEFERRY HOUSE, LONDON ORGANISATION UNIT: MARKETING & COMMS PURPOSE To develop and oversee Burberry’s E-Commerce & .com imagery execution within the in-house Photostudio. You will be responsible that the visual aesthetics drive the brand and achieve commercial impact across all E-Commerce assets. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee, lead and inspire the art direction within the Burberry E-Commerce Photostudio for .com usage as well as supporting other Digital projects from time to time.
  • Work across fashion model, stills and video shoots.
  • Lead on end-to-end visual management, from concept to final image delivery.
  • Lead testing initiatives to continuously evolve the image proposition for .com according to customer and business needs.
  • Clearly articulate visual direction and ideas to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with production & post-production to ensure timely delivery of assets to site
  • Develop & implement style guides for fashion model and still life categories.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with photographers, styling and freelance art directors.
  • Develop the E-Commerce image strategy to ensure we deliver visual content to the highest standard, aligned to wider creative direction.
  • Research, conceptualise and execute assigned brand initiatives.
  • Provide leadership, inspiration, guidance, support and direction for the digital Photostudio team.
  • Manage multiple projects & live photography sets
  • Stay updated on competitor activities, and emerging talents to continually innovate and elevate our content offerings and incorporate them into our brand's visual language.
  • Developing and maintaining a consistent brand image across all visual touchpoints, reflecting the brand's strong visual identity.
EXPERIENCE
  • Proven creative experience working in luxury fashion production and/or design environments.
  • A depth of experience in Art Direction within luxury E-Commerce
  • Extensive experience working for a global brand, understanding of different market needs.
  • Strong relationships with photographers/stylists/hair and make up artists etc.
  • Excellent verbal, visual and written communication skills.
  • Highly proficient in design, typography, retouching, video and motion a plus, using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Detail orientated and well organized with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
  • Positive and collaborative attitude, with own team, wider organisation and external collaborators.
  • A deep passion for branding, content & creative storytelling.
  • Strong artistic and creative abilities, with a keen eye for design and typography.• Knowledge of current fashion trends and an understanding of how to translate them into brand visuals.
  • Strong creative POV with an understanding of business objectives.
