Your new School
You will be working as an Early Years Teaching Assistant for a market leader that has exclusive partnerships with schools across the Cheltenham area. The Early Years Teaching Assistant opportunities are on a long-term basis working in this school for 5 mornings a week. The school needs an Teaching Assistant to help increase the maximum learning potential of each and every child they work with. If you have the skills to motivate and inspire children facing challenging barriers to learning, then this TA job is ideal for you.
Your new role
You will be working as a teaching assistant in this primary school for 5 mornings a week where it will be your job to assist the teacher with setting up resources and tidying them away. You will also be tasked with assisting the teacher with classroom management and taking small group tasks
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a Primary Supply Teaching Assistant you will need to have recent experience within a classroom setting in the last two years, either within a mainstream or SEN setting. You will need to be an approachable and patient teaching assistant who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations, whilst demonstrating a professional manor at all times. It is imperative that you have good communication skills as this is crucial when speaking to teachers and other staff in the school.
