Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an hardworking, enthusiastic teaching assistant to join this exceptional school in Offerton as soon as possible. This will be a full time, long term position until the end of the academic year for the right candidate and there may be an opportunity to join the school on a permanent basis, following changes coming into effect in Sept 2018. The daily rate rate for this role is £60.

The school aims to develop confident , caring, independent children with the support of adults who assist their journey and enhance their learning.

The role:
This four-time "Outstanding" school is looking for a teaching assistant with experience in Early Years, who has excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
A committed professional who will blend seamlessly into the school and uphold their learning ethos and values.
A collaborative and driven individual who will support on the delivery of the EYFS Framework through a variety of approaches that ensure individual learning for every child.

The role may involve a number of responsibilities including the delivery of small group work, key children observations as well as close support and monitoring of children who have English as an additional language or those with special educational needs.

The School:
This Outstanding school provides a calm and tranquil atmosphere for children to enjoy. Standards of behaviour are impeccable and children feel very safe and are keen to learn. As such they are looking for an individual who will be able to promote and maintain these high standards of learning and behaviour as well as taking an active role in delivering the Outdoor aspects of the curriculum.

The school offers a curriculum rooted in a love of nature and the outdoors and aims to give children outdoors as much as possible through Forest School activities that teach the children to treat outdoors and the animals that live in the forest with the utmost care and respect.

The school is easily accessible via the A626 and has ample parking both on site and nearby.

To be eligible to apply for this role you will need:
An excellent understanding of the EYFS and enthusiastic attitude when working with young children
A positive and passionate approach to children's education
A flexible and adaptable approach to work
Working with any health and social care professionals, where necessary, and undertaking any relevant admin/paperwork
