This beautiful school is a new school, which opened in September 2015. It is in its 3rd year of running and is run by a successful principle and independently funded. The French national curriculum is taught and students have the opportunity to sit French Baccalaureate in subjects when they are in the secondary phase. The school has both a primary and secondary phase and is located on a beautiful five - acre campus which includes all newly-refurbished and purpose-built buildings, outdoor sports pitches, a large gymnasium, a bright and spacious library, state-of-the-art science labs, a music room and a drama studio. About the role - EAL Teacher, Brent, North London
With the school being an International French school, the school require a Good and experienced EAL teacher to join their school and work with children who have a lower level of English and to try increase their levels. This would be on individual and group basis and working with children from Year 1 to 6. From time to time, the EAL teacher will also need to be willing to cover classes from Year 1 to Year 6 dependant on the school's needs. Class sizes vary from 22 - 30 children per class dependant on the class. The school is a forward thinking, modern school and well resourced. Children have an iPad between 2. The school are looking for a teacher who can join the team with ideas and contribute. 60% of the week is French and 40% is English.
