E Commerce Project Manager

The role will sit under the CEO, working with their 6 strong developers in the team.

Each project undertaken for the IT Project Manager will be broken down into discovery periods, which you’ll organise and liaise with the relevant stakeholders on then develop this into a build phase, writing User Stories / developing acceptance criteria and using Kanban and Scrum techniques as required.


  • Knowledge about / and practical experience in AGILE methodology and SCRUM framework

  • Knowledge about World Wide Web network

  • Interaction with senior management and business stakeholders

  • Experience of managing people and financial budgets (including project budgeting, monitoring financials etc…).

  • Setting and managing client expectations

  • Excellent negotiation skills and an ability to handle sensitive issues with tact and diplomacy

  • Keeping up to date with emerging industry practices

  • Strong time management & organisational skills

  • Commercial experience as a Project Manager delivering e-commerce projects with an in-house developer team - the more you have, the more advantageous

  • Understanding of the software development life-cycle

  • Appreciation in the e-commerce industry and web technology

  • Robust risk analysis & planning

  • Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics


  • Proven Ecommerce / Web Project Manager

  • Background from an e-commerce company

  • Delivered several technical web builds and associated projects with developers before

  • Technical / Developer background (knowledge of the following technologies would be advantageous: PHP, JavaScript, HTML, SQL)

  • Technical Degree (e.g. Computer Science degree)

  • E-commerce / Retail Software delivery

  • Klipfolio dashboards creation
