FUNCTION:

To work competently within the Financial Operations team as an E-Billing Administrator, contributing to the effectiveness of the finance department by providing a comprehensive and efficient service to internal and external clients in order that the business objectives of the firm and the department are achieved.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To work as part of the Billing team, alongside the Credit Control and Cashiering teams, to help provide a highly effective and efficient revenue service to the Firm.

  • To provide administrative assistance for e-billing clients

  • Assisting team members to provide a comprehensive billing service

  • Providing administrative support to Chubb e-billing specialist updating Chubb database by inputting notifications received daily from Tymetrix

  • Responding to all requests in a timely and efficient manner

  • Tracking and chasing rejection responses on a regular basisand to provide reports to the Team Leaders to follow up

  • Ensuring all rejections are processed in Tymetrix accurately

  • To work with the database team to proactively resolve billing information issues before delays impact of the revenue cycle

  • Uploading relevant tax documents to Tymetrix

  • Responding to information requests promptly, referring any complex queries to the Assistant Billing Manager

  • Using Excel to document data trends and update automated reports

  • To show a high level of dedication and flexibility, to ensure strict e-billing schedules are adhered to as and when required

  • To maintain an organised filing system and provide administrative support

  • To assist in providing cover during holiday periods

  • To ensure a high standard of work output and quality of information

  • To refer any contentious issues to the Assistant Billing Manager

  • To perform any other relevant tasks as specified by the Firm

  • To ensure a proactive approach is taken to carrying out all duties to maintain/improve client relations and goodwill

  • To operate and ensure adherence to the firm’s working practices, quality procedures and protocols and information security policies as specified by the firm

  • To be subject to varying degrees of supervision on a day to day basis liaising with the Assistant Billing Manager and Chubb e-billing specialists on a regular basis.

  • To work on your own initiative

  • To undertake any specific training course identified by the HR Department, line managers or external training provider

  • To operate safely in the work place

  • To ensure confidentiality and security of all practice and client’s documentation and all information

  • To undertake any other adhoc duties requested by the Assistant Billing Manager and Chubb E-billing specialists
