Dyslexia Support Assessor / Tutor required for regular flexible part time weekly work (on a 0 hour contract basis) to support trainees based at the Royal School of Military Engineering in Chatham, Kent.
Candidates must have Level 7 Diploma or equivalent in Teaching and Assessing Learners with Dyslexia / Specific Learning Difficulties, and PATOSS Assessment Practicing Certificate and ideally have experience of teaching and assessing post 16 and adult students.
This will be an interesting and varied role with the requirement to carry out assessments; deliver high quality, predominantly 1-1, teaching; develop appropriate teaching materials; produce reports and draw-up action plans that address students’ learning needs.
You will be supporting highly motivated students and helping ensure their success, in a range of artisan, technical and professional construction and engineering courses. You will provide support and advice as well as liaising with instructors, troop personnel and other agencies as required.
