Duty Spa Manager

Our Client are looking for a Duty Spa Manager to join them

The role involves working evenings and weekends.

We have a 3-weeks rolling rota which will include 6 x late shifts and a combination of early and mid-shifts. It will include 1 full weekend off and 2 working weekends. DM shifts start at 8am and finish at 5.15-5.30pm depending on the business on any given day.

The shifts are as follows:

Early (6.30-3)

Late (1-9.30)

Mid-Shifts (9-5.30 and 10.30-7)

We are looking for someone with great hospitality skills, sunny personality, with a hands-on approach to work and an eye for detail, able to delegate work effectively but also ready to be a team player and support their colleagues by helping with all the basic tasks if required and as listed in the job description.

The salary for this job is £18.400 per annum

Overall Purpose of Role

Ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the Spa Reception to the satisfaction of all clients and in conjunction with the high standards of the Spa. To oversee Reception on a daily basis in liaison with the Front of House Manager

Knowledge, Experience & Skills

Previous experience in customer care role.

Supervisory experience desired

Administration experience.

Good IT skills.

Should be able to work under pressure in a busy environment.

Reliable and punctual, able to work longer hours if requested

Committed and willing to learn.

Good interpersonal skills.

Must have own transport.

Main Duties & responsibilities

Perform Duty Management shifts.

Be responsible for the induction and training of new staff members on Reception, if required

Deals with problems and complaints in the Front of House Manager’s absence.

To deal with and respond to all spa e-mails and enquiries.

Introduce ideas for improvements and on-going training.

Deal with problems & complaints in Front of House Manager’s absence

To monitor absences of all Reception staff, if required

Involved in F&B service

Laundry duties.

Carrying out Facility checks.

Dealing with Telephone & e-mail bookings & enquiries of Treatments, Fitness Appointments & Day Spas.

Processing & reconciliation of daily business.

Responsible for the opening & closing of the Spa.

Carries out any other reasonable tasks requested by Management Team to aid the smooth running of the Spa.
