They are now seeking a Duty Solicitor for their Doncaster office on a full-time basis.
We are actively seeking a Duty Solicitor for a reputable firm in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. With strong experience in a criminal department, you will be able to conduct advocacy in the Magistrates and Crown Courts, having Duty Accreditation is essential to the role. Your matters will include: drug offences; representing clients in the police station; acting in Crime Act proceedings; motoring offences; criminal appeals; arrests and prosecution and; false allegation. The successful Solicitor will have solid experience and the ability to confidently communicate in clear and concise manner at all times. You will also be able to attend to clients in and out of hours as part of your duties.
Ideally, a Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE in a Crime department.
Duty Accreditation is essential.
Demonstrate excellent client care and a detail-oriented approach to your work.
Ability to handle a mixed caseload to meet key deadlines is a prerequisite.
Have a flair for business development and networking.
Motivated and seek to develop within a reputable department.
