HRGO Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Duty Manager, for our client in Folkestone.

Ideally you will have a background in Leisure and Activities, as well as managerial experience and a sound understanding of health and safety for staff and visitors.

Main Duties

  • To ensure safe and smooth running of the centre.

  • To maintain the highest levels of health and safety to customers, staff, and visitors.

  • Carry out daily checks of the centre

  • Maximise profits by management of staff hours and correct billing and pricing structures.

  • Deal with customer complaints

  • Oversee party booking forms

  • Ad hoc administration duties

  • Cashing up, running reports

  • Maximise customers perceptions of the centre - temperature control, seating arrangements, cleanliness etc.

Job Requirements

  • A-C in Maths & English

  • Enhanced DBS

As well as the above, most importantly as a duty manager you will be friendly, approachable and professional with a desire to succeed and to go above and beyond in the interest of the centre.

Hours of work are Sunday 0945 - 1800, Monday 0845 - 1800 and Tuesday 0845 - 1800.

This can sometimes be a 7pm finish depending on how busy the centre is.
