Our client has created one of the best activity centres in Sussex, offering a range of both indoor and outdoor activities for children and adults of all ages, with a focus on providing fun and laughter!
They are looking for a Duty Manager who can lead and inspire a team of around 30 staff to deliver an amazing customer experience. This will involve delivering staff training, planning rotas, managing the cleaning, maintenance and café staff and setting the highest levels of customer service across the team; you will be leading by example and this is very much a 'front of house' role. You will also be supporting with the health and safety requirements of the site, ensuring it runs safely and efficiently and carrying out regular checks to make sure that the equipment and facilities are in good order and that the customers are safe and happy.
You will need to have extensive previous team leading experience, as giving strong, authoritative and firm leadership is key to this position. You must be a good multi-tasker as this is a really busy, varied and challenging role where you will need to think on your feet; being enthusiastic and having a cheerful and positive personality are all essential! You will be required to have a First Aid at Work certificate in place prior to starting this role.
You will be working 40 hours per week, and this will include weekends.
