As Distributor Territory Manager you will maximise sales and profit for our for our independent and large scale outlets (trade, retail and automotive brands) with designated customers in your sales territory - Kent.
As Distributor Territory Manager you will focus on delivering volume, sales, margin & cash collection targets as well as developing new business opportunities. This will involve maintaining and developing existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods as well as quality of service. You will build strong customer relationships and execute sales plans, marketing initiatives, new product launches, promotions and more to grow profitability. You will review our brand presence and maintain our brand leadership status by regularly merchandising our products to gain maximum awareness in store. Important will be the ability to deliver customer service levels that ensure the market continues to use AkzoNobel products above all others.
The successful candidate will have either gained experience in sales / account management within a FMCG environment alternatively a graduate looking to start their career in an organisation that will help develop you into your career in sales.
To be successful in this role you need to have a focus on continuous improvement to improve business processes and performance. You will be good at building relationships at all levels and possess excellent communication and financial skills. You will have / learn an understanding of category management and an eye for effective merchandising. You must be self-motivated, excel at achieving targets and be resilient in negotiations. You will also be the sort of person who is passionate about excellence and delivering on commitments.
Being a current full driving licence holder is essential for this position.
