Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager you will be responsible formanaging a small team ensuring work schedules are distributed and actioned daily to meet departmental targets e.g. KPI’s whilst following internal processes and procedures.
Applicants will have to demonstrate:-
The willingness and enthusiasm to relay the key skills (i.e. coaching, motivation, training and communication) required to promote and grow within the New Buildproduction area, where team working is necessary to achieve the business goals and objectives.
The ability to utilise the in house MRP system you will be responsible for the daily allocation of work, ensuring jobs are completed within time limits set and achieving required levels of productivity.
Good communication skills on a variety of levels as the role will involve liaising with other departments within the business.
The successful candidate must have the required IT skills to use Microsoft packages and the in-house systems.
The ability to train and monitor the team and highlight any areas that need assistance.
The successful applicant must be willing to assist within all parts of the processes, from assisting with quotations, resolving technical issues, up to delivery of the finished product which may involve thinking and acting quickly to avoid delays to production.
A working knowledge of Health and Safety and Lean Practices within the workplace is desirable.
The position is a 100% hands-on approach, requiring the flexibility to achieve customer requirements.
