(Zero Hours Contract - working a day and night rotation)
Our client produces over 2,800 aseptically compounded injectable pharmaceutical products each day for hospitals and patients across the UK who are fighting cancer, living with chronic disease or in need of pain relief. Through their scientific and technology capabilities, the team continuously develops new and innovative methods to improve their products and services.
Due to the expansion of their site and services they are currently recruiting drivers. This will be on a zero hour’s contract but working hours will have structure. This position would suit someone who wishes to have the flexibility of a zero hour’s contract but will be dependable with a flexible approach to working hours. You will work within the team to continue to develop their capacity and capability so that they can continue to deliver their products to hospitals and patients homes across the UK and beyond.
Duties will include:
- Providing a prompt and responsive delivery service of medicines to hospitals and courier collection points.
- Monitoring temperature control systems within vehicles.
- To follow the standard operating procedures in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice in order to maintain the Units ‘Specials Licence’.
- To ensure that all relevant validations as applicable are kept up to date.
- Safe Operation and use of company vehicles.
The successful candidate should have a full UK driving license, be courteous and professional at all times. You should also be organised and be able to demonstrate initiative with excellent communication skills, backed with the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
