Person Specification
The right candidate will be an intelligent Drama and English NQT who possesses the ability to motivate and inspire. You must possess an invested attitude to best practice, ensuring you remain on top of new and exciting teaching methods. We want to recruit a teacher who has the skills to work independently or in a team given the circumstances and pick up the pace of this active school. The ideal individual should be able to stimulate pupils with their creative approach and manage behaviour appropriately. You will possess the will to achieve success and rise to any challenges and high expectation levels of your students and colleagues. We want to recruit a teacher who has the skills to demonstrate a real passion for teaching and learning whist managing behaviour appropriately at the same time.

About the Role
This role will involve you teaching and working alongside a superb teaching team, and will allow you to really develop as an individual teacher. In general, you will be working closely with the school's development team who ensure that all staff have the CPD they require to progress in their role. In this post you will be learning and supported by a very committed Headteacher, who is keen to see staff and pupils excel. Part of your role will include enjoying learning how to best use a wide range of teaching tools and resources which the school have on offer. You will have the responsibility of working in a well equipped classroom with specialist subject software. You will be teaching classes up to Key Stage 4, ensuring your GCSE pupils are well-prepared for their important exams. Day-to-day, you will be heeding the advice of your colleagues who will be to provide you support at every stage of your development.
