My client, a specialist UK based Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Drainage, Civil and Flood Risk Engineering, is searching for a Drainage Design Engineer to join an established team of Flood Risk and Drainage specialists based in Chester.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline including a BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering and experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Drainage Strategy and Residential Drainage Designs using Microdrainage.

It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally and have experience completing Drainage Area Planning.

This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a team of experienced Engineers to work on Residential Drainage Projects for Private Sector Clients and Local Authorities. You will also have the opportunity to manage projects and mentor team members.

Applicants will also be supported to complete the following;

-Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1,2 and 3.

-Surface Water and Foul Drainage Strategy.

-Detailed Residential Drainage and Sewerage Design using AutoCAD and Microdrainage in respect of S104 and S106.

-Drainage Area Planning.
