Your new role

Southend on Sea Borough Council are currently looking for a highly motivated full time agency/temp administrator with the vital skills, experience and vision to work within a busy adult social work environment. You must be flexible, a good communicator, team player, proficient at administration and be computer literate. You will work alongside a team of dedicated and talented professionals by providing vital administrative support to the Deprivation of Liberty (DoLS) Team, Best Interest Assessors and Service Manager. You will be part of a small team that will ensure DoLS referrals are managed efficiently from an end to end process. Previous knowledge of DoLS desirable but not essential as training and support will be provided This is a fast paced position, attention to detail is key and the successful candidate needs to be able to pick up new systems or processes quickly

What you'll need to succeed

The post requires strong administration experience, knowledge of Liquid Logic would be an advantage but not essential as training is provided. The successful candidate will also need to ensure that information is kept highly confidential and secure at all times.
